Abayomi is Tailor from Kwara State, Nigeria but he was born, raised and lived in the Ikotun area of Lagos State. Sometime in September 2019, Abayomi had a tiff with a lady around Abattoir axis, who unknown to him was in a romantic relationship with a SARS official. The lady, due to an issue she had with Abayomi, invited the SARS official to arrest Abayomi. Mayowa, a native of Ogun State and a Barber grew up in Lagos State and stays around Ikotun area of Lagos State. On a particular Sunday in September 2019, he decided to hang out somewhere around his area and after the enjoyment of the night, he went home and immediately slept off. The next morning, he noticed that the money he had on him had been stolen, he asked his roommate about the missing money, and this led to a serious fight, they were at it when they were both arrested and taken to SARS. Stanley, like Abayomi and Mayowa also grew up in Lagos, but he hails from Delta State Nigeria., Stanley decided to hang out with his friends like he always does, and they went to Ogba area to have a good time. While at Ogba, a fracas broke out between Stanley and someone which led to the person inviting SARS officers to arrest Stanley on the ground that while they were fighting, some valuables of his got missing. At the Police Station, these three young men met each other for the first time. They also met one Lateef at the police station. Lateef identified Abayomi, Mayowa and Stanley as part of his gang who carried out a series of robberies within the area. Due to Lateef's testimony, they were locked up in the police cell, but the police later freed the guy who was fighting with Mayowa.
